Philosophy: We believe that a child is only a child for a very short time in their life. That in this day and age many children have been forced to grow-up before their time. We would like to preserve and create some of those precious moments of childhood by giving each and every child a chance to be just that. We believe each child has the right to laugh, to sing, to dance, and to be a child.

Dr Itchaya (Noi) Sitterley
Class: Assistant Director / School Age Director
Background:
- She has 18 years of experience working with students in Thailand
- She moved to the U.S. and was a citizen of the US in 2001
- She has worked at Rhymes and Reasons for almost 8 years
- She has her school age training certificate in which she received in MD
- Graduate with B.A. and M.E.D. in Education, Ph.D in Communication

Philosophy: Positive Approach System: She likes for the children to learn in an Inter-cultural atmosphere.

Beverly Pierce
Class: Pre-K (Older 4's)
Background:
- BS degree from the College of Human Ecology at Michigan State University
- Has been teaching at Rhymes and Reasons for 10 years.
- Uses MMSR in the classroom
- She loves nature and tries to excite the children about our world.
- She has traveled and lived in Europe and helped the children to learn about other places.
Credentials: Level 6
Philosophy: Art and crafts are her passions and are used on a day to day basis in her classroom.

Betty Ward
Class: 3's Classroom
Background:
- She has been working for Rhymes and Reasons since Oct. 2007 with the 2 and 3 year olds.

Philosophy: Helping children learn and grow with patience and love.

Evelyn Clancy
Class: 2's Classroom
Background:
- 90 hour certification
- BA at St. Mary's College of Maryland
- Substitute teacher for 8 months for assistants in Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms
- Full time assistant for YMCA childcare in the Pre-K room for 1 year.
- Started at Rhymes and Reasons in Nov. 2009

Philosophy: Wants to ensure a safe, respectful, stimulating, and encouraging environment for young learners.

Jennifer Bartel
Class: 2 1/2's Classroom
Background:
- Graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor's in Sociology and minor in Early Childhood Education.
- Worked with children from the ages of 6wks to 12 years for over 15 years
- Worked as a director of a childcare center for 10 years.
- Married for 11 years with 2 children

Philosophy: Working with children and helping them develop socially, physically, and emotionally. Providing a fun and positive environment that will help them to grow and also learn how to be wonderful individual.

Jenna Shipley

- She is attending Carroll Community College, majoring in Early Childhood Education.

Tera Waters

Philosophy: Children are born with tremendous potential and capacity for learning across all development domains: physical, cognitive, emotional, language, and social development. I believe that all childrens needs can be met. As an Early Learner Educator it is my duty to delegate and find means for their needs and wants established.

Denique Lewis : 2's Classroom
